By the way, any idea what these things are worth? It's got no rust, few small scrapes and standard everything... Near concourse example

By the way, any idea what these things are worth? It's got no rust, few small scrapes and standard everything... Near concourse example Welcome to the forum. Good to have you and thanks for posting in the intro section. What your car is worth varies and depends on a few things: Where you are in the great planet of ours, this makes a difference in that there may have been salt on the roads in winter or salt from living right next to the ocean. Also some areas did not even get Justy's (Like Australia!) which would make them more rare! Some regional areas within the same country received more than other areas: The western seaboard of the U.S. received many more times more Justy's than the east coast of the U.S. Another major factor is what kind of laws there are regarding upkeep and maintenance on older vehicles in the country you live in. In Japan it is very expensive to keep owning a vehicle that is over 5 years old and older. In these areas an older vehicle becomes a liability to the owner in that he has to fix so much just to be able to insure and register the vehicle after the government inspection. Not sure on the value of your specific car as you did not indicate the year, 2 door or 4 plus hatch, plus is it standard or ECVT transmission? Having a 4x4 can really make your car more desirable, again depending on where you are. Those in southern California do not care so much about 4x4 I bet! I see that you come from the United Kingdom, it is relatively easy to upgrade your profile to reflect that, this will help and encourage other people to contact you and share any knowledge and possibly spare parts that are available. Please tell us more about your new car and I hope you might post pics of it too!

Hey thanks, well it's a '94 GL GenII I'll get some pics up soon! The chassis has been undersealed to prevent corrosion. The UK is pretty tough, in fact most of the EU is... Have to have it tested for everything from emissions to rust before being allowed to put it on the road. Think I'll be keeping it for a while unless I get a really good offer... Only thing I don't like is the cost of parts and limited availability or uprated parts...

Think I'll be keeping it for a while unless I get a really good offer... Only thing I don't like is the cost of parts and limited availability or uprated parts... 94 means it is one of the last Justy's made, this is good. What transmission does it have? Does it have Air conditioning? Will it need anything?:windshield, exhaust, brakes, tires?(Oooops...TYRES!) ;D Not sure, in the UK, does an older car that will be facing a hard time from the government inspectors make the car a liability and thus much less valuable? Or having a noticeably different car that is older make it more desirable and thus worth fixing up? The cost of parts for Japanese cars are high and then the government inflates the price to encourage domestic car purchase. The only thing to do is to find a suitable (Cheap) parts car to disassemble for you own parts inventory. As far as upgrades....Stick around and I will help with stuff, but you pretty much have to be able to modify and or make up your own things for these baby's!
