So I'm doing some research on various Vin Decoding info online posted in various forums and Club pages. Most are U.S. based and cover the Impressa but none relate to the inline engine Equiped cars covered here. If you would like to participate in helping me to post how to decode where your car was originally shipped to as well as what equipment it came with, Please send me your Vin in a P.M. or post it here with out the last 6 numbers. Also I need to know if you know where your car was originally sold. Where was the SubaruDealer (What Country)that sold the car? Also: Engine size, Standard or Auto, Number of Doors and original color or model differences. Thanks, This will only be helpful to everybody if we get lots of info!

Oktaner..... Welkommen..... I watched a few of your videos' interesting story on the Vivio, you also have some great projects. Interesting that someone would rebody a Vivio with a classic Mini body... any more info on that car?

in 1993 after the Rally the Cars ( 3 of them ) were dumped.... and forgotten because immideatly in the next Race Patrick Njiru and Colin Mc. Rae got the new legacy.
*I had a contarct wirth Subaru in 2000 for a Safari Rally in Kenya and found the damaged vivio ( No: 7) in the scrap of the local Subaru base. It had been raped in seve5ral Autocross events and the body shell was completely useless. At this time I had no idea about the value or History of the car, and besides that. I cut everything anyway. That is how it became a Mini..ish
Now we found the other last Shell from Koseki , so I donate most parts from my Mini to complete this last original Part of History
thank you for your recognition most appreciated.

Heino Dahmen Fantastic, cool story, it would be great to see more pics of the mini and even of the wreck before re-body. I imagine like most though, you did not take too many pics because it is hard to imagine that anyone would care in the future?
