I decided to dump the 92 ECU rom in the Vivio RX-R Anyone else do it I would like to compare, we have to find info online before if goes offine as most now info is from 2004-2007 I think i have all the info on adding a socket to the Vivio ecu, picked up all the chips etc for it but can't find a confirm. For info on making the device go herethe programs i used were from here and the second from here I did find a few posts from Japan on ECU edits but not a lot. Anyhow this is a start.

I have my 92 stock Vivio rx-r ecu read here online it's 32KB it may or maynot be correct as I am unable to find another anywhere after searching for months. I used two different programs to check that they were the same be interestering for someone else to post a rx-r dump to compare really nice if anyone had more info as well use hex workshop or whatever to open , none off the other ecu tune programs have ini files for the edits to work.

Just a small update ... from the images on the first post the white connector plugs into the yellow select monitor plug under the dash, load the subaru Polaris program and plug in the USB cable to the laptop it takes up to 120 minutes. the device flashs lights and the program says connected. that device board is FTDI FT232RL USB to TTL Serial Converter Adapter Module 5V and 3.3V 4 Arduino SN lots of places sell them www.alcyone.org.uk/ssm/usbhowto.pdfthis is a start .... anything wrong please correct
