Fun bit of kit but looks a bit weird, especially when it is driving around the course. ;D When it comes to 4X4 ground clearance - actual and effective clearance plus the amount the suspension articulates determines if it will be a great 4X4 machine (for Rugged Offroad use!) Some are built just for flat mud bog situations which is fine. But Mudboggers are NOT the same as rockcrawling buggies! To increase "Effective ground clearance for exiting a sharp edged ditch or going over a large fallen tree one requires a certain amount of ground clearance. The actual ground clearance can be increased quite a bit "Effectively" if the vehicle has a relatively short wheelbase compared to the tires used. This little Smart 4X4 is that to the extreme. The problem now is that it is in extreme danger of rolling forward or backward length wise while negotiating very steep terrain. That is what I do not like about this one. With tires THAT large it needs a longer and wider stance. The fix is to put shorter height tires on.
