Hi justyfied, the measurement you want is 745mm approx. Got my measuring stick out today. My Vivio engine compartment comes out at 745 mm. I guess it is the same! The Vivio EN07 660cc 4 cylinder engine itself is 400 mm or 15 and 3/4 inch wide. The Vivio 5 Speed transmission is 340 mm or 13 and 1/2 inch's. The Justy engine bay is 815 mm wide or 2 foot 8 inch's. The Justy EF12 engine is 395 mm or 15 and 1/2 inch's wide. The Justy 5 spd standard trans. is 355 mm or 14 inch's wide. So as it is the Justy engine and trans as a unit is a hair too wide.

Just did a repair job on a Daewoo Matiz; 3 cylinder, approx 790cc engine. Thought; maybe possible engine transplant for the Sherpa . A very rough & quick measurement between the frame rails shows approx 750mm. Not sure on practicality, as I don't know what the availability is over here. Took the car for a test drive; if did conversion would want to do something about the gear shift. Nowhere near as positive as the Sherpa, but is a 5 speed box. Maybe like the Justy engine & box; just a shade too wide, but wouldn't know for sure without further investigation.
