Anybody know if the difference between the Sherpa "Deluxe" and the majority of Sherpa's which are "Super Deluxe" is the size of the rims? The first Sherpa's came with 10 inch rims and DRUM brakes up front. Unlike all the rest of the Sherpa's with front disc brakes. My question is if the 82 "Deluxe" rims looked like the ones on this old original "Rex" with the rims mounted directly to the outside of the drums?

Not really Sherpa related but I believe the first Honda Civics to come over also had 10" rims and a 2 cylinder engine.

Yes that is true, but with that 2 cylinder engine being an in line air cooled engine, it more closely resembled one of Honda's motorcycle engines. The rims on that car were bolted onto a hub and were of what is considered a more standard style in the center portion of the rim.

That Honda over here in Australia was called a Z 360. The 360 being 360cc. The later ones where a liquid cooled 360cc engine of a similar set up to the Sherpa engine. I don't think they where related to the Civic, but I may be wrong. I had a couple of Z360's & an N600 which was an earlier model with a 600cc air cooled engine.
