For those with a RX-R when you need to adjust your valves
I did my shims a while back .. for the VIVIO it takes smaller shims and no one has them so I took larger ones and took all day grinding them to the correct side , you can adjust them the same as some motorbikes the shim is on top of bucket .. for my car some were tight and some were loose did it at around 84000KM
went over a lot off shims ..... shims are $8.00 got them at the Honda dealer ..... maybe some other car uses the same size but I never found one tool was for Suzuki bucket shims ebay has them.
yes, some of the valves were very tight - some were loose i switched a lot around but was forced to make some .. i have photos here somewhere pushing down the bucket .. same as some motobikes I took a photo just now of the tool and you can see one larger shim at the bottom i had to grind just a bit off the edge so it would fit in the bucket
i'll get better images on this tool i do think this is the one i used as I bought every tool to see what would work the best, the Suzuki tool would not hook on the bucket i think .... i did this 4 years ago ...... doing good just to find the images .. Dam buy a car drive for two months and park for 4 years .. that was not a good plan.
