Just a reminder to those of you thinking of putting fog lights, fancy stereo and/or other aftermarket electrical goddies on your car... A common side effect of doing this will be to burn up a connector in the harness comming from the engine. Normally this is indicated by the charge light as well as the brake light glowing. On gen1 cars this is a 1wire connector and is round with a white wire. On gen2 cars this could be either round or slightly oval and will have 2 wires, also white. I have seen this on a few cars where someone will run a jumper from the alt. to the pos. side of battery as a remedy. Although this appears to fix the problem it is by no means the proper solution. If this is your problem and you can't find a new connector, just cut the conn. out and wire-nut them back together. Wire- nuts are easier to remove than 6 feet of electrical tape if/when the engine has to come out.
